Holstein Switzerland...with 200 lakes - one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Northern Germany.
The Holsteinische Schweiz Nature Park, named after the region of the same name, stretches over 75,000 hectares in the east of Schleswig-Holstein between Lübeck and Kiel. Among the largest and best-known of the more than 200 lakes in the nature park are the Great Plön Lake, Kellersee, Dieksee, Kleine Plöner See and Great Eutiner See.
Day 1 Arrival to Plön
Plön is a small town situated in the middle of the lake landscape of Holstein Switzerland. The landmark is Plön Castle, which towers majestically over the lake.
2nd day day trip Kiel, Laboe & carriage ride at the canal
After a round trip through Kiel and Laboe
take a discovery tour by horse-drawn carriage along the Kiel Canal. Through nature you will pass historic sites and historic manor houses.
Day 3 Sunny Island Fehmarn
The island of Fehmarn, Germany's third largest island after Rügen and Usedom, is the destination of our excursion today. With your tour guide you undertake a round trip to the most beautiful places of the island. You will visit the picturesque district of Burg, an attractive place with cobbled streets lined with typical North German brick houses and half-timbered buildings, the famous Aalkate in Lemkenhafen and the ferry port in Puttgarden, which connects Fehmarn with Denmark.
Day 4 Holstein Switzerland with travel guide
Your journey takes you through the picturesque hills and lakes of Holstein Switzerland. On your round trip you will stop in the rose town of Eutin and visit Malente. Afterwards you will travel by boat over 5 lakes of Holstein Switzerland to Plön.
