Gurk has therefore served as a place of pilgrimage for centuries. Even the Pope was already here. In the afternoon visit of the medieval town Friesach and its fortress and the chocolate museum of the manufacture Craigher.

Day 5 Visit of the largest alpine drive of Styria at the Lachtal - celebrated with a lot of customs.
The Almabtrieb from the "Lachtaler-Almen" (Großlachtal, Kleinlachtal, Hirzmann, Schlatterer, Steinbach) to Hochegg is one of the most beautiful and largest autumn events in Styria - over 3000 visitors are happy to be there every year. If the mountain summer has been successful, the cows are beautifully decorated before they move in. Successful means: All animals are complete and return to their home stable healthy and in good condition.
