Day 1 Arrival to the Riviera of Flowers
You are staying at the 3-star Superior Hotel Liliana in Andora. Andora is an Italian municipality on the Ligurian coast in the province of Savona with 7528 inhabitants. Life in Andora takes place mainly by the sea. Anyone who has ever spent a holiday in this dreamlike region of Liguria will be thrilled. The mild, Ligurian climate, the clean beaches and the crystal clear sea invite you to dream. Andora has a large marina where sailing regattas take place regularly.
Day 2 Sanremo and Ligurian hinterland
At the start of the journey you will get to know the beautiful Riviera of Flowers. First you will visit Sanremo, the capital of the Riviera dei Fiori. After the visit of the beautiful city you have time for your own explorations. Afterwards you drive along the picturesque coastal road through the elegant town of Ospedaletti, the climatic health resort of Bordighera and end in the small town of Dolceacqua. A wine tasting with a Ligurian snack follows in a rural restaurant near the idyllic village.
Day 3 Ventimiglia and Hanbury Garden
First you discover the city of Ventimiglia. It has an interesting cultural heritage with the remains of a Roman theatre and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. In the afternoon you will continue to the Hanbury Garden, one of the most beautiful parks in Liguria. With an extension of about 18 hectares, it houses a huge number of flowers and subtropical plants. Let yourself be impressed by this unique garden art.
4th day Pietra Ligure
This excursion takes you to Pietra Ligure. The small town has an interesting old town with a splendid 18th century palazzo, the parish church of San Nicolo di Bari with two bell towers and a beautiful market square. After your return to the hotel the rest of the day is at your disposal.
Day 5 Menton, Monaco and Monte Carlo
The excursion begins with the trip to Menton. You visit the impressive and roofed market in the market hall. After a lunch break you will travel to Monaco. You visit the old town with the large cathedral Notre-Dame-Immaculée and the noble prince palace. Afterwards you drive on to Monte Carlo. The city known for its casinos and celebrities.
