Holiday in Filzmoos

Day 1 Arrival to Filzmoos

Room distribution and dinner. Your 4-star Hotel Hanneshof welcomes you with a welcome drink. Directly in the centre of Filzmoos, the romantic mountain village in the heart of Austria. Discover the breathtaking natural scenery at the foot of the Bischofsmütze. Relax in the wellness area and forget everyday life - equipped with indoor swimming pool, cosy sauna world with steam bath, Finnish sauna, tepetarium, aromarium, whirlpools, Kneipphof and adventure showers as well as relaxation loungers invite you to relax. The cosy rooms are equipped with bath or shower, WC, hairdryer, cable TV, safe, mini-bar and balcony. 
Enjoy the excellent culinary variety of the cuisine in the Wellnesshotel Hanneshof and experience the "pleasure with all senses". The kitchen team in the four-star hotel conjures up excellent variations, mainly from local products.  

2nd - 6th day stay in Filzmoos

Use a day off to visit the Oberhof Alm - this is easily accessible by hiking bus or on foot.  The Oberhofalm in the valley end of the Hofalm area is a rustic, original 350 year old alp. With cosy parlours and a beautiful sun terrace with a wonderful view of the Bischofsmütze and the peaks of the "Gosauer Stein" up to the Torstein.  Take beautiful walks in beautiful nature to the small Almsee, a small idyllic mountain lake at the foot of the Bischofsmütze.

Day trip - Schladminger Tauern round trip
Drive over the Hachau to the Steirische Ramsau - panoramic drive - in the Ramsau view to the Dachstein (3000m) and the Schladminger Tauern. Stay in the world cup town Schladming. Further along the Rohrmoser panorama road to Styrian Lake Constance with a beautiful circular path at the lake and the possibility to stop for a bite to eat.  Back via Radstadt-Altenmarkt in Pongau - Eben to the hotel.

Day trip - Around the Hochkönig 
Filzmoos-Bischofshofen via the Dienter Sattel to Maria Alm (stay) -Saalfelden-Zell am See (break opportunity for boat trip on the Zeller See) - then on through the Salzach Valley to Taxenbach- St. Veit im Pongau-St. Johann im Pongau- Eben-Filzmoos

The Liechtensteinklamm is certainly one of the longest, deepest and most impressive gorges in the Alps. The mighty sound of the waterfall, the moss-covered stones in rich green, a legendary atmosphere and sunrays that create a rainbow in the fine water dust. The unique natural spectacle in the Salzburger Land is known for an unforgettable excursion of a special kind. (Entrance fee Liechtensteinklamm not included in the price)
St. Johann is a small town in the middle of the Salzburger Land, characterised by diversity. A multitude of cosy hotels, inns and restaurants invite you to stay and as a shopping town St. Johann offers a shopping experience for every taste.

Day 7 Journey home 

After an eventful day, you start your journey home after breakfast.
