Bus Travel Description

Adventure trip to the heart of Germany, between the Thuringian Forest and the Harz Mountains, the center of nature and culture.
Because of its numerous churches, the former Thomas Müntzer city is also called "the city of towers". The medieval old town center with numerous historic buildings is still enclosed by the 2750m long and completely preserved city wall. Located directly on the "German Half-Timbered House Road", Mühlhausen is one of the most beautiful towns in Thuringia. Mühlhausen is crowned by the Marienkirche in the upper town, the largest church in Thuringia after the Erfurt Cathedral. After an interesting discovery tour, small cafés and cozy pubs invite you to linger.

Trip Itinerary

Room distribution and cozy dinner. The family-run 3-star superior Brauhaus zum Löwen is located in the middle of the historic old town of Mühlhausen. Here you can enjoy pure ENJOY far away from any hustle and bustle and treat yourself to a TIME OUT from everyday life.  The central location of the house allows a variety of leisure activities - whether exploring or simply strolling in the traditional half-timbered town. The cozy hotel radiates medieval flair with its time-honored half-timbering, but at the same time offers high living comfort with 81 spacious comfort rooms. There is a special feel-good atmosphere here with rustic wood tones and warm colors that radiate coziness and are very inviting. Since beer is still brewed here, you can experience the brewing tradition up close. In the cozy "Malztenne" restaurant, you can enjoy a hearty meal right next to the brew kettles, where the "Brauhaus Pilsener" and the "Apotheker Dunkel" are brewed using the bottom-fermenting method. A highlight is the brewery tour by the master brewer followed by a beer tasting. Dance, music and a bar atmosphere are the order of the day at the "Leo" scene meeting place in a very cozy rustic ambience.

Wernigerode - The colorful city at the Harz mountains
The popular town of Wernigerode with its historic town center and the elaborately restored and colorful half-timbered houses is located on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains. The nickname "colorful city on the Harz" was coined by the German writer Hermann Löns at the end of the 19th century. The town hall on the market square, the leaning house, the smallest house and the oldest house are just some of these features that make up the rich half-timbered idyll of Wernigerode.
Quedlinburg has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. With its collegiate church and castle on the Schlossberg and over 1300 historic half-timbered houses in the old town, Quedlinburg is an attraction for every vacationer in the Harz Mountains.
