Day 4 Drive to Brunico for the weekly market
The picturesque town of Brunico is the heart and soul of the green Puster Valley, not only thanks to its central location: to the south, the Badia Valley stretches into the mountain world of the Dolomites; to the north, the quiet Ahrn Valley flows into the glacier world of the Zillertal Alps.
You will get to know South Tyrol from its real side - because South Tyrol is multicultural, tradition-conscious and open-minded at the same time.
The return journey goes through the 18-kilometer-long Antholzertal to the Antholzersee the third largest lake in the country (break) - not far from the lake is the biathlon center. Here, in addition to simple amateur athletes, professionals from all over the world practice running and shooting; once a year the Biathlon World Cup is held in the Antholz Valley.
5th day day trip Bolzano - Caldaro
An excursion leads to the South Tyrolean capital Bolzano. With its burgher houses decorated by arcades and the picturesque fruit market, this city already knew how to impress Goethe. In the afternoon, the tour continues along the South Tyrolean Wine Road to the famous wine town of Kaltern. A stroll along Lake Kaltern is almost a must.
