Day 1 Arrival in Antwerp

Your journey to the Kingdom of Belgium begins today. Over the next few days, you will admire the most beautiful cities in Flanders. You will see the city of painters and fashion princes, the city of art connoisseurs and gourmets and, of course, the cosmopolitan city in the heart of Europe. Today you will get to know Antwerp, the city of art on the Scheldt with the famous Grote Markt and its magnificent guild houses, during a city tour. Antwerp has gained international significance primarily due to its important seaport and is considered the world's most important center for the processing and trading of diamonds. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star Mercure Antwerp City South hotel in Antwerp, conveniently located in the business district. The streetcar will take you to the center of Antwerp. The tram stop is just around the corner from the hotel.

Day 2 Sightseeing Ghent

After breakfast, the journey continues today to Ghent, the former residence of the Counts of Flanders. Ghent is a beautiful city at the confluence of the Scheldt and Leie rivers. Today you will get to know it better on a city tour. In the 16th century, Ghent was one of the richest cloth weaving cities in Europe. Hardly any other city has so many impressive buildings. The focal point is the famous altar by the Van Eyck brothers in St. Bavo's Cathedral. Numerous street cafés vie for the favor of visitors in the university city. The city has already been officially declared the coziest city in Flanders. During a canal cruise, you will get to know the charm of the city from the water. 

Day 3 Sightseeing Bruges 

Bruges captivates every visitor with its intact medieval cityscape. It experienced its heyday in the 15th century. Burgundian dukes created magnificent residences
residences that still characterize the cityscape today. Your city guide will show you the top attractions of Bruges. You should definitely not miss the Rozenhoedkaai. From here you have one of the most beautiful views of the city. It is the photo hotspot of Bruges. The most memorable way to experience the magic of Bruges is on a canal cruise along the charming canals. The entire city center has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since the turn of the millennium. 

Day 4 Journey home via Brussels 

Before the journey home, the capital of Belgium is still on the program. Explore the city on your own before we start our journey home at 1 pm.
