Bus Travel Description

Look forward to 5 beautiful days on the Baltic Sea coast. Discover the Hanseatic city of Greifswald and let yourself be enchanted by the maritime flair of the university town. The old town with its three Gothic churches, the fishing village of Wieck, the Eldena monastery ruins and the Greifswald Bodden will impress you. Even the painter Caspar David Friedrich, son of the city, often chose the city scenery as a motif.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival Greifswald
You will stay at the 4-star Mercure Hotel Am Gorzberg in Greifswald. In the evening dinner together in hotel.

Day 2 - On to the North Cape of Germany - Rügen Island
After breakfast we start with a tour guide for our day trip.
Your island hopping starts with the island of Rügen. At the northern tip, the peninsula of Wittow awaits you. Cape Arkona, also called the North Cape of Germany, is one of the most popular destinations. Deeply embedded in a shore gorge near Cape Arkona are the thatched houses of the old fishing village of Vitt. Visible from afar is the octagonal little chapel. Below, the narrow gorge opens up to the sea and provides a fantastic view. The Königsstuhl is a 118 m high chalk promontory in the Jasmund National Park with wide views of the sea. The national park center offers its guests interesting information about flora and fauna. During a boat trip from Sassnitz, you can experience the impressive cliffs from the sea.
Binz, probably the most famous seaside resort on the island, invites you to take a walk along the promenade.
In the evening dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 - Capri of Pomerania - Hiddensee Island
After breakfast we start our day trip with a tour guide.
From Stralsund you will "hop" or better "swing" comfortably through picturesque Bodden waters to the island of Hiddensee, the "Capri of Pomerania. The car-free island with its few villages, the wide beaches, the bird colonies and heath areas in the interior is an Eldorado for nature lovers. During a carriage ride you will experience the unmistakable nature of the island. Experience the atmosphere of "Haus Seedorn in Kloster, where Gerhart Hauptmann lived and worked.
In the evening dinner together at the hotel.

Day 4 - The sunny island - Usedom
After breakfast we start with a tour guide for our day trip.
The triumvirate is now perfect: Usedom is a true natural paradise. Sandy beaches as well as reed belts and steep coasts separate the elements here. Quiet bays or rough seas, pikeperch from the Peene River or sea trout from the Baltic Sea - you should not leave the island without enjoying fish. At any time of the year it has its unmistakable charm, not least due to the lively activity in the three imperial spas, which can be discovered during a walk in Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck. Walking out to sea is possible on the famous Usedom piers. They are the landmark of the island, and with 508 meters the Heringsdorf pier is the longest in Europe.

Day 5 - Breakfast together - Journey home
With many new impressions and a few islands later we unfortunately have to start our journey home.
