One of the most beautiful traditions in Tyrol.....
At the end of September the time has come: the Almabtrieb is ceremoniously staged. Before winter arrives, the dairymen and dairywomen and their animals leave their summer domicile on the alpine pastures and head down into the sheltering valley.
The cattle are garlanded and decorated with funny little hats, colorful ribbons, saying boards, bells and flowers. The people proudly wear their traditional costumes, and the autumn festival is celebrated with delicacies of the region and lots of dance & music.

FOR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TIME OF THE YEAR...
Welcome to the wonderful vacation world of the Ferienhotel Tyrol in the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps. The 4-star hotel is located in the heart of Söll and is only a two-minute walk from the center. The rooms are generously equipped with bath/shower/WC, TV, radio, telephone, WLAN, hairdryer and balcony. The day begins with a hearty breakfast buffet with organic corner and in the evening you can choose from a choice menu with four courses, three main courses (one vegetarian) and salad buffet. Day 2 Informational walk through the village - At your leisure

The enchanting village of Söll is located on the northern edge of a flat pass plateau that slopes south into the Brixen Valley and north into the Leuken Valley. Characterized by its numerous hamlets and settlements, it is flanked by two impressive mountains: the imposing Wilder Kaiser, which is part of the Kaisergebirge, and the Hohe Salve (1,828 m above sea level), Söll's local mountain.
Summer in Söll takes you to the surrounding mountains, such as the Hohe Salve, which has two excursion destinations to offer: At the mid-station of the cable car, which starts on the outskirts of the village, is the water adventure world "Hexenwasser Hochsöll" with the longest barefoot path in Austria. From there, the Hohe Salve cable car then starts directly to the summit, where the famous wind harp is located next to a chapel. Nature makes music there, so to speak, when the wind is transformed into sound, inviting people to pause and listen. Take advantage of the benefits of your Wilder Kaiser GästeCard.
