The Austrian Kleinwalsertal, which can only be reached from Germany, with its four villages Riezlern, Hirschegg, Mittelberg and Baad, lies at an altitude of between 1,086 m - 1,244 m and promises vacation enjoyment for every taste. To the east and southeast it is bordered by the Lechtal Alps, to the north and west the Vorarlberg and Swabian Alpine foothills open up. 
Your hiking paradise - The mountain world of the Kleinwalsertal offers a hiking trail network of over 150 km in three climate zones.

 

Trip Itinerary

1st day arrival in Mittelberg

Welcome to the 3 star superior Aparthotel Kleinwalsertal in Mittelberg.
Beautiful and modern rooms or apartments await you, all with bath or shower/WC, color TV, telephone, sitting area, balcony or terrace. All rooms can be reached by elevator. Relax and unwind! Water relaxes and awakens the spirits. You can keep fit in the spacious indoor swimming pool (9 x 13 m) and relax on the sunbathing terrace.

2nd - 6th day stay in Mittelberg

Day trip Bregenzerwald round trip
Mittelberg- Hiddisau- Egg- Mellau- Schrecken over the Hochtannberg pass to Warth through the Lech valley further through the Tannheim valley to Sonthofen.

Day trip to Oberstdorf and the Breitachklamm gorge
Not far from Tiefenbach, the waters of the Breitach river make their way through a narrow gorge with vertical and overhanging walls almost a hundred meters high. A natural wonder without equal!
Oberstdorf is Germany's southernmost town, surrounded by the Allgäu high Alps and internationally known for the Nebelhorn with the world's most beautiful ski jumping facilities (possibility to drive up).

Day trip to Lindau on the shores of Lake Constance
The Bavarian shore of Lake Constance stretches from Nonnenhorn to the Lindau district of Zech and is about 12 kilometers long. Due to its location in the immediate vicinity of the Austrian and Swiss Alps, the district of Lindau is probably one of the most beautiful vacation regions in Europe, not only because of its wide range of water sports.
