Day 1 Arrival in Abtenau
Welcome to the 4 star Hotel Post in Abtenau. You will experience genuine family tradition with heart and will be pampered with Salzburg hospitality. In this lovingly furnished hotel, you will feel a dignified atmosphere in pleasant, private comfort from the very first moment. In a quiet, central location in Abtenau with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, you too will feel completely at ease.
The cozy comfort rooms are equipped with shower/bath, WC, hairdryer, room safe, satellite TV, radio, seating area and balcony. The hotel has two passenger lifts, an indoor pool with Grander water (30°C) and counter-current system and a sauna in the garden area.

Day 2 Abtenau - free time
Get to know Abtenau on a guided walk. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Take a foray into nature on foot. Wonderful hiking trails invite you to go on a hike. Take advantage of the Tennegau PLUS guest card - hiking bus - Gosau, Russbach, Annaberg, St. Martin and much more. 

Day 3 Great Salzkammergut 7 Lakes Tour with tour guide
The "Great Salzkammergut 7 Lakes Tour" takes you past Lake Hallstatt - Orth Castle - Gmunden am Traunsee - Attersee - Mondsee - Wolfgangsee - Fuschlsee - Wiestalstausee. 

Day 4 Excursion to Filzmoos with a visit to the Unterhofalm 
Enjoy a lovely excursion to Filzmoos in the Dachstein region. Situated at 1,280 m above sea level at the foot of the Bischofsmütze, in the middle of a spectacular alpine basin, the Unterhofalm with its rustic parlors invites you to take a hearty break. After a good snack, we recommend taking the wonderful circular walk from the Unterhofalm to the Oberhofalm via the Almsee lake.

Day 5 Day trip to Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall with a stopover
The Berchtesgaden region in the south of Bavaria awaits you with high peaks, romantic lakes and Germany's only Alpine National Park. Go on a voyage of discovery or dine in a traditional restaurant where you can enjoy many culinary delights.
Continue to Bad Reichenhall - The Alpine town of Bad Reichenhall with Bayerisch Gmain is located in the Bavarian Alps. Surrounded by mountains, the spa town stands for well-being, cultural and natural experiences.
Ludwigstrasse and Poststrasse, one of Bavaria's first pedestrian zones, are located in the heart of Bad Reichenhall's town center. Over a length of around 2 kilometers, the pedestrian zone of the Alpine town of Bad Reichenhall offers a varied stroll along selected, high-quality specialist stores, bakeries and cafés. Once your shopping appetite has been satisfied, the royal spa gardens, venerable cafés and shady beer gardens invite you to take a well-earned rest.
