Kaltenbach in the Zillertal

1st day Arrival in Kaltenbach

Day trip to the Wildschönau with a stop in Rattenberg and Kramsach at the museum cemetery, with historic grave crosses from five centuries - mostly with original sayings. Continue to Wörgl in the Wildschönau high valley - The Wildschönau high valley in Tyrol lies halfway between Bavaria and the provincial capital of Innsbruck to the south of the Inn Valley. With its four parish villages of Niederau-Oberau-Auffach and Thierbach, the Wildschönau opens up a world of its own. Ascent to the Schönangeralm with a stopover - return break in Oberau with the opportunity to visit the Mountain Farmers' Museum.  The Bergbauernmuseum is a complete experience, the historic rooms dating back to 1795 house a remarkable collection. Over 1,200 exhibits tell the history and stories of the meagre life of Tyrolean mountain farmers.

Day trip around the Kitzbühel Alps
The day trip "Around the Kitzbühel Alps" is on our program today. First we head over the Gerlos Pass to the famous Krimml Waterfalls. Experience the largest waterfalls in Europe with their huge masses of water and impressive roar (admission not included in the RP).
We continue via Mittersill and the Pass Thurn to Kitzbühel. How about a leisurely coffee break here at the foot of the Hahnenkamm, where the famous ski race of the same name always takes place in winter.

Half-day trip to Pertisau am Achensee
After a delicious breakfast we drive to the Achensee. In Pertisau you have free time to go for a walk or take a boat trip (boat trip not included in RP) on Tyrol's largest lake. 

Day 7 Journey home 
Well rested and full of wonderful impressions, you start your journey home.
