Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Husum
Husum, the secret capital of North Frisia. In your centrally but quietly located Hotel Hinrichsen, after room allocation, you will have dinner together. Afterwards, the Husum night watchman will pick you up for an atmospheric tour of the town in the evening. Welcome to the north!

Day 2 Eiderstedt and Friedrichstadt with tour guide
After a hearty breakfast, you will first travel from Husum to the small Dutch town of Friedrichstadt. During a boat trip through the romantic canals, you will quickly understand why the town is also known as "Little Amsterdam" in Schleswig-Holstein. The journey continues to the Eiderstedt peninsula to the famous Westhever lighthouse and the well-known St. Peter-Ording lido.

Day 3 Sylt - the queen of the North Sea
After breakfast, you will embark on a day trip to the most famous North Frisian island, Sylt: we will first travel by coach to the Danish island of Rømø and from there take the ferry to List on Sylt. From there, a tour guide will accompany us on a tour of the island. From List in the north to Hörnum in the south, you will see the most famous places on Sylt and of course have time to take a stroll along the promenade in Westerland (tourist tax not included in the RP) before taking the car train back to the mainland via the Hindenburgdamm. After a day in the fresh air, you can look forward to a delicious dinner in your cozy hotel.

Day 4 Hallig Hooge - in no man's land between high and low tide with tour guide
The small ferry port of Schlüttsiel is just a few kilometers from Husum. From here you set sail on the "MS Seeadler". Your destination: Hooge, the second largest Hallig in the North Frisian Wadden Sea, is often referred to as the "Queen of the Halligs". Halligen are tiny, low-lying islands in the mudflats on which people build their houses on mounds, known as terps, to protect them from the tide.
To expand and maintain the tourist infrastructure on the Hallig, the municipality of Hooge charges day tourists a fee of €1 per person ("Halligtaler"), which is paid on site and is not included in the tour price.
Once on Hooge, you will take a carriage ride to the three most important terps (Kirch-, Hans- and Backenswarft). Your tour guide will tell you exciting and entertaining facts about life on a Hallig. In the evening we will have dinner together in a dyke restaurant on Nordstrand. Round off your trip with a cozy dinner with a view of the Halligmeer.

Day 5 Journey home
After a hearty breakfast, we start our journey home from beautiful North Frisia with many wonderful memories.

We expressly reserve the right to make changes to the program, in particular due to weather and/or tidal conditions.
