Bernina&Glacier Express

Switzerland's natural paradises - clear the way for the most spectacular Alpine crossings on the Bernina and Glacier Express. Who hasn't dreamed of experiencing Switzerland's magnificent mountain world on the original Glacier or Bernina Express at least once in their life? Make this dream come true - with both trains. On this journey, railroad romantics, mountain and nature lovers alike will get their money's worth and experience Switzerland from many idyllic angles. 
Over breathtaking viaducts, bridges, hairpin bends and loops, but without any tunnels, the Bernina Express makes its way through unspoilt nature, overcoming a difference in altitude of 1,830 meters. A technical masterpiece that our Swiss neighbors are rightly even more proud of than their herbal sweets. The ride on the Glacier Express on the particularly idyllic section between Andermatt and Chur is no less beautiful.

Day 1 Arrival in Graubüden - dinner and overnight stay at the 3-star Hotel Albula&Julier in Tiefencastel. This family-run hotel is centrally located in the heart of Tiefencastel. The cozy rooms have a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone and radio/TV. You will be spoiled with local specialties in the restaurant.
 
Day 2 Glacier Express & Viamala Gorge
After breakfast we travel to Andermatt to take the famous Swiss mountain railroad, the Glacier Express, to Chur. Climb aboard please! The wonderful train journey from Andermatt to Chur on the "Glacier Express" leads through the wild and romantic Rhine Gorge to Disentis and on over the Oberalp Pass. 
Once in Chur, the return journey continues to Thusis. Here we visit the famous Viamala Gorge. Return to the hotel and dinner 

Day 3 Bernina Express
In the panoramic carriage of the "Bernina Express" you enjoy the railroad line, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered a technical masterpiece. Past the Morteratsch Glacier, the Piz Palü, the Diavolezza and then down into the Val
Poschiavo, the terminus today is Tirano. Many photo opportunities, picturesque villages and untouched nature will accompany you throughout the day. Once you arrive in Tirano, you have the opportunity to go for a stroll in the beautiful mountain village or stop off at a restaurant. Then return by coach via St. Moritz and the Julier Pass to Graubünden. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel

Day 4 Farewell to Graubünden
With many new impressions and fortified with a hearty breakfast, we set off on our journey home.
